Even the people in OG are beginning to think that this might happen. It actually solves a lot of problems. Rose and the Doctor gets a happy ending; The Doctor travels continue; and when DT finally leaves he can always come back in a more plausible fashion. On top of it, that type of regeneration never happened before.
