Aw man, every year you post a Dragon*con report I desperately want to go. But obviously, being in the UK and all, it's not the handiest place for me to get to XD I think a group of us are actually planning to go back to America again next year but I think the plan is to go to SDCC.

DUDE, NO!! SDCC is only superior to Dragon*con if you have industry contacts. If you have none, it's not nearly as fun, just an overly crowded con full of events you can't get in to due to its massive size and because they allow squatting. Sure, they have more celebrities than D*C, but who cares when you don't get to actually interact with them one-on-one? And how frustrating is it to wait in line for a 1 hour panel for FIVE hours? Or to not get in to the panel that you really want to see because Twilight squatters have been sitting in the same room for the last 8 hours in order to not miss ~*RPATTZ*~ AND ~*KSTEW*~. Yeah, I'm going this year, but if I could only recommend one to someone from another country, I would DEFINITELY say Dragon*con. It'll change your perspective on what a convention SHOULD be forever.

....Unless you don't like drinking/partying. In that case, SDCC ahoy. XD

As a person who lives in the UK and is going to dragon*con I have to say- I've been to both, and Dragon*Con is a billion times better

As a Georgian I am personally offended that you'd use our accent to pretend to be Alabamian. Gosh.

Technically, only your great-grandparents should be offended, since I was pretending to be a Victorian Alabamian pretending to be a Victorian Georgian. 8DDD IT'S TOTALLY LOGICAL.

I have to agree...D*C is an amazing con. I have way too much, if that's even possible!

Sounds like we have similar issues with Aurora and Vanessa. I made my bodice for that before I went on Seasonique and could wear a smaller cup size. So it squishes my boobs in weird ways which is hopefully not that noticeable.

And I'm still so envious of your awesome BSG cast story! I didn't get to see Michael Hogan and we even signed up for a Monday photo op with him.

Haha, only I didn't have a good excuse like birth control making my boobs explode- it was just faaaaaaail pattern calculations. XD I am SO glad I left so much extra fabric in the back and didn't cut it off, or I would have just scrapped the whole bodice.

His flight was scheduled to depart at like, 11 am or noon. Was it a morning photo op, because he was probably too hungover. XD

Everyone was just gone already. They should really pay attention to guests' schedules better. Cause what they did was just have us take a super quick photo(like I didn't even have a chance to say hi to any of them) with the cast members that were left. But if they'd just not scheduled a Micheal Hogan photo op when he wasn't going to be there then Dad could have just saved his money.

Unrelated, guybehindthecamera.com. Why do they have like no pictures up? I got excited when I saw on the front page that they even shot at TimeGate, but then there are no convention galleries up. What the heck?

Wait, so your dad paid for Michael Hogan and instead they just gave you whoever they had standing around??? That's fucked up! According to the guys, everyone's flights were at noon or earlier except for Trucco, who they didn't have flying out until 3 or 4. They joked about how the con wanted to keep Trucco there "INDEFINITELY" or something. XD ( ... )

He was a cool guy. Would have talked to him a bit more, but I wanted to get back to my friends.
