Everything I've read about Good Luck Chuck for the past few months has given it the same basic plot: A guy (Dane Cook) gets cursed when he's in high school. Every woman he sleeps with breaks up with him, but then marries the next guy she dates. This results in him getting a good luck reputation (hence the title), and lots of women try to sleep with ( Read more... )

Eat a dick slash!! Dane cook is funny and talented and should let himself shine. I am so tired of hearing " Hollywood sell out". What do You think he was gonna do when he got famous? Sit at home and pat himself on the back? No people try and capitalize on there fame and go on and do better things. Dane worked the stand up thing for 20 years. His efforts paid off, so he's trying new things. The way ANYONE becomes successful is doing different things with their career, but still holding onto what made you famous ( ... )

i just dont like it when comedians make the jump to movies. waiting i thought was ok because he was more of a background character but it still went with the sort of image he had created for himself with his comedy. then he presented an award on some mtv award show and is doing a stupid romantic comedy with jessica alba. that is nothing like the kind of comedy that made him famous. i could deal if the movies he chose to do were at least partially borderline on par with any of his standup but so far the only non-standup work hes done thats been acceptable has been waiting, this movie doesnt appear to change that. to be fair though, i find all romantic whatever movies to be extremely stupid
