A few thoughts on classism in Midwestern America and the church

When you purse your lips because someone's shirt is frayed or stained or just not as crisp as yours? That's classism.

When you make assumptions about a middle-aged person who's working a minimum-wage job, like, "They should have gotten an education" or "That's what happens when you get pregnant in high school" or "Wow, they haven't done anything ( Read more... )
