But mom, I don't wanna go to school....

Apr 03, 2006 11:14

I'm a little sleepy, as I felt like crap this weekend and spent a lot of time (too much, actually) resting, but I may as well post anyways. History got cancelled this morning, which was nice, and I should be using this time to work on my Text to Sermon homework, but I'm posting instead. But look, I've been productive!

Hey, I found you b/c somehow you're linked with Wartburg. I guess you are a double-burger then? Do I know you somehow? I graduated the 'burg in 04 and am at LSTC as of this year.
I'd be really interested to connect and play "The Lutheran world is one big inbred family" game. And hear how you like "graduate school".
Peace!

I think you might have been in my capstone class, with Bouzard? My name is (surprise surprise) Katie B., and I was a religion/philosophy double major, tall brunette with glasses, have a habit of rambling when I get tired?

Nope, I was in an earlier class. You graduated last year right? With Beth B? I think you and I might've had an OT class together or something...something like that. So! How do you like Sem? Are you MDiv? I heard that there's a couple 'burg people there this year. That should be cool!

Okay, way to many Lutheran Amandas. Yes, I did graduate with Beth, and with Emily C. as well. Sem is good, weird but good, but I like this W'burg a lot. I'm MDiv, and there are two other Burgers here from my year, along with various ones from earlier years. It was nice to not have to start over completely in terms of meeting people. I stole the lutheranseminarian group from you, btw, so I suppose I'll see you in that community.

I haven't read much of your journal yet, as I just discovered it and really must get some sleep now, but it's a lovely journal, quite elegant.

As far as the eyelid twitch thing goes, let me know if you find an antidote. I've had that problem off and on all year, never before that I can recall, and if I weren't already crazy, it would certainly be driving me there.
