I know, right? Assuming he grows up to be a reasonably law-abiding citizen, he has the winning "crazy thing I did as a kid" story forever. (I mean, he does either way, but if he turns out to steal things a lot as an adult it's less funny from my perspective.)

Nothing will ever beat the penguin story. EVER.

(Jesus, have you ever stood there and watched the penguins at the Aquarium? They are loud, mean little fuckers (also smelly, with many and constant emissions. I am in AWE of any child who somehow managed to coax one successfully into his jacket and keep it quiet long enough for that bus to get moving. Wow.)
