I dunno. If they took up polytheism, they could explain multiple non-plans a lot better, right? "No no, see, each god had a plan..."

You'd have thought that somewhere back at the beginning, when they were working on those opening credits, someone would have said, "wait--do the Cylons have a plan???" But perhaps that would have been too easy.

Of course it turns out that I don't really care whether they had a plan or not, because I've been drawn in rather irreparably at this point, for better or worse (currently I'm pretty sure it's "worse").
