The actors who play Stanley, Jimmy, and Bill-who-I-totally-do-not-recognize say Thank You. It's sweet. Also, I forgot to say in my last Jericho post how much Jimmy rocks, so: Jimmy rocks! He could have been such a stereotype, and is not.

Okay, I'm only vaguely aware of Jericho but that is very cute. And hats off to the NUTS folks, I guess. I was skeptical and bemused at their efforts but the unlikely happened, so yay!

I felt the same way! I was all, come on, guys, this isn't going to work with a major network, it doesn't even really work with little operations like Sci-Fi...

And then it worked. And I was torn, because on the one hand, yay! And on the hand, oh, God, that's just going to encourage them.

It really does get better, in that they stop acting like they're faintly embarrassed that the background of their show is a major nuclear event and start being all "DUDE! Civilization in RUINS! This ROCKS! ...in a way that sucks for the characters." Which is much more satisfying.
