Huh. You know, of all the shows I've ever been watching and not longing to kill at the point of the cancellation, Jericho would not have been my choice for resurrection. I just wish Mayor Dad hadn't been killed off. I guess McRaney asked to be, though.

I like your list. And it is funny when you let yourself remember it's funny. It also got surprisingly engaging in its second half.

Yeah, I have to admit, Jericho lost a few of the points it had gotten with me when I found out Dad died because McRaney wanted out--I'd thought "wow, that was gutsy, killing him off like that," but now not so much. Still, they could have gone for the soft goodbye ("Dad, um, re-enlists in the Marines! Yeah, that's it!") so they can keep some of them.

(Plus, they didn't let his wife get there in time. More gutsy points.)

I agree with every single point on your list. Especially the thing about Dale as a criminal overlord, because I love Dale the Criminal Overlord.

And Heather had better save the day. It's not like anyone else is going to be capable of it.

I'm finding it hilarious and touching how united everyone on LJ is about Heather's general awesomeness and competence.

I love Dale the Criminal Overlord too. He's such a cute psychopath in training.

Now, now, that's not fair. Robert is also reasonably competent. And hey, his daughter kills people! So they would probably be helpful.
