Oh, I am so hoping Nathan doesn't disappoint me right now, you have no idea.
And, yeah, now I'm very curious about what Candace really looks like.
Oh, and: I suspect DL will survive being shot, because in the alternate timeline we know he lived at least long enough to meet Sylar and get his brain et. And since he and Niki haven't interacted with Hiro since he got back from the future, there's nothing changing their paths from what they would have been in that timeline. If that makes sense.

Well, Hiro spoke to Nathan before Nathan told them where Linderman was, right? So there could be a change. But I take your point, yeah. (And it's not like DL couldn't survive a big explosion by phasing; that could even be how both he and Niki survived.)
I'm starting to prepare for Nathan to break my heart completely, but I really, really, really, really hope he pulls it out at the last. Please. I don't want to be crushed like Hiro was, and I would like to see Hiro become uncrushed by Nathan. Er...
You are so right about Sylar - how that works is beyond me, but damned if Quinto doesn't just rock that role. You know, it occurs to me that this show could have gone horribly wrong in so many ways, but... wow, did they ever get it right. Yay!
I'm actually a little worried that Nathan may not survive, which... I mean, I suppose a heroic death would be better than condoning mass murder, but I would be sad. You can be a better person, Nathan! You have it in you!
I thought the exact same thing about Oyce when I thought DL had died! Heh. I am encouraged by the promo though.
They really lucked out with Zachary Quinto, I think; he has... a sense of... this sounds weird, but a sense of fun, that I think really helps.
I totally see what you mean. Quinto plays him with such brio that I can't help but be entertained. He's a great comic book villain, larger-than-life and brimming with glee without stepping the line over to mustache-twirling. If he dies in the finale, I'm gonna miss the guy.
Claire reminded me A LOT of Buffy in this ep -- not a bad thing.
Me too! I find myself adding Sylar to the list of people I don't want to lose, which, er. I think he should probably go--there's only so much you can do with one antagonist, and I'm sure his charms would fade over time--but I'll be kind of sad when he does.

I just had the horrified thought that I really, really don't want to see Claire do Buffy S6. The massive soulsucking depression part, I mean. If she wants to sing, that'd be okay with me.
