I was briefly tempted to just make up a bunch of quotes in honor of April Fool's Day, and then I remember a) I kind of violently dislike April Fool's Day, b) that would be a lot of work, and c) I'd just be asking for trouble.

So, I didn't. But I could have!

I feel kind of guilty--since I'm trying to go on the low-meta diet and all, and I cut down my flist during the move, it's harder to keep the quotefile supplied!

Well, no, there's really no way to make that work when the whole point is to try to reduce my exposure to people who could at any moment bust out something that'll drive me up a wall.

Hehehe. I violently dislike April Fools too, and I am pleased when it falls on a Sunday so I can avoid people.

You know what's interesting is watching fandom evolve through your quotedumps. QED: the prevalence of SPN on this, even though you don't really watch it. *g*

Ha! Well, yes, inasmuch as fandom can be described as "stuff that Katie reads on her flist, plus the occasional followed link." For instance, SPN is going to disappear for a while now because I hit a point where if I saw the words "Oh, DEAN" one more time my head was going to explode, so I stopped reading posts about it for a while. But I can read them again now! Which is good.
