I have come along way from last month's watching of Fantastic Four:

Them: That's Stan Lee
Me: Who's Stanley?
Them: Stan Lee
Me: Stanley who?

To say that, yes, the busdriver was Stan Lee. (I saw his name in the credits and was watching for him.)

In other news, it's very disconcerting to see you post right after something airs on the east coast.

Ha! I was wondering why seeing this felt off - you are right. Moving time zones has messed with my head.

Much like poor Mrs. Bennet.

Ha! Same here. I looked at my Flist, and I was all, "wha? Katie? When?", then I realized we are now in the same time zone. Heh.

Peter freakin' scared the hell out of me, which is to say, AWESOME. I share your concerns about Peter becoming to powerful, that I have hopes that there would be a major fallouts for Peter taking on so much powers.

I would guess he assumes that her power healed her memory loss, rather than that she never had any in the first place.

Huh. That's an excellent point. I thought Bennet would wreak his vengeance on the Haitian for betraying him, but that may not happen after all.

At first, I was kind of cranky with Claire for putting the Haitian (and seriously, can he get a name now?) in that kind of situation, but then I remembered that even if he helped her, he's been hurting her mother for a very long time. So.

That was indeed Stan Lee.

Aw, that's nice. I really like it when people pay homage to those who've gone before.

ETA: Also, the Joyce Summers flashbacks are getting intense. I think Mrs. Bennet's gonna have to change her hair or something before they get any worse.

Oh, good. I'm glad I'm not the only one who's having these.

And, yes! Stan Lee!

I actually wonder if they're doing it intentionally. I mean, that always sounds crazy to me when other people suggest it, but... the resemblance is striking, and you'd think the kind of people who would make a superheroes show would also be the kind of people who watched Buffy.

They clearly left some hooks for Claude to come back into the story, so hopefully that'll happen. I'd like to see him again.

She was a plot device and little more. If we're going to trade her in for a woman with a real role, I'll count it as a win.

Yeah, I think I pretty much feel this way as well, though I can understand how some people would be pissed off by the woman-dies-to-make-men-more-interesting thing cropping up.

I will say, it made me laugh a little sadly when it took me exactly twenty-four hours to see the first person accusing Hana of being a Mary Sue.

Yes! She looked so much like Joyce this episode, and given that she was also having brain troubles, I was saying "PLEASE DO NOT RELIVE SEASON 5. GIVE ME SEASON 2 AND 3 FIRST. THX."

Niki, DL, and Micah are a big hole of suck. The Petrelli family and the Bennet family are much more interesting.

Remember when Peter had a Slayer Dream, saying "I can't control [his] power"? I'm betting that's going to be a theme -- it takes time for Peter to adapt to what he's taken. And if he took, say, all of Syler's powers at once -- BOOM.

I think Micah could be theoretically interesting--I mean little kids with power can be scary. But they haven't gone there yet.

Ha! Oh, God, so true. The funny thing is, my first response was "but I'm not sure we will, because Heroes is a much more serious show," but that's actually completely unfair to Buffy. Heroes takes itself more seriously, but that's different.
