Hee. I hope so too--we'll see. I do like Kekari, and now that I'm free of the J/D I know the basic shape of the story, but I don't know that I'll ever actually write it.

I don't know about believable--"they were genetically engineered!" was my mental answer to several issues, most of which aren't really obvious here--but I thought it would be fun to do something with a non-bipedal intelligence for once. I can see why the show hasn't gone there, but it's a shame fic doesn't more often, I think.

Plus once again you've got the characters down pat. Jack is just so Jack in this, especially the "polly want a cracker" line. It made me lol.
