Holiday travel stinks

OK. I think all air travel stinks these days. Is Snoqualamie pass open with all lanes now? Enjoy those goofy lighted displays out there along the road...the ones the farmers put up. My favorite is the Santa on a space shuttle!

Ask to be upgraded to first class for the rest of your trip, PLUS mileage and compensation for the car park. And, throw in a free trip to be used whenever you need/want it. The last time we were stuck in Las Vegas, trying to get to Spokane, we were offered all that and $400 each. (It was America West, but I don't think the airlines differ greatly when it comes to this sort of stuff.) Tough way to start your holidays though.

Snoqualmie is open, yeah, so the trip wasn't that bad. Tough to find anywhere to buy a hot drink at that hour of the morning, though! Nothing until the Starbucks in North Bend.
