Hmm - I share your apprehension. Films made of books I love are rarely anywhere near as good as the books. (LOTR being the obvious exception.) Henry, and probably also Claire, really strike me as characters that can never be lived up to on screen, if you follow me. I may well not see the film when it appears.

Also from that article - Edward Norton as the Hulk - the mind boggles!

I know - the book's so perfect I doubt a film will live up to it.

And I know! That is most definitely not who I would have picked.

I was a bit peeved upon hearing that as he's nothing like what I am imagine Henry to be like at all. Then again, I suppose it is a bit too early to judge him without seeing him in the role.

I am rather excited that they are making a film of it though. :)

I'm not really sure how I imagine Henry, but he's not like Eric Bana. We'll see.

I'm excited about the film too, despite my misgivings.

Oh I loved that book! I miss the characters. I don't know that actor really, so I'm not sure. Not how I imagined him, but are actors ever?

The only thing I know about that actor is that he played the Hulk in that dreadful film a few years ago. I'll go and see the film because I love the book, but I will be scared of them ruining it.
