BSG 4.04 (is that right?)

Well, I'll have to almost take back what I said earlier today.

Bill was still kind of a dick to Laura, but he was provoked. She knew he was drunk and she still got into everything. Not in a million years did she deserve what she got from him, but I understand it better now that I've actually seen what went down between the two of them. But Laura ( Read more... )

Like I told tina_cat, I liked that they had a fight. It wasn't a fleet-destroying difference of opinion or anything. It was just a legitimate argument. It smacked of people who have been together and are just irritated with each other and so decide to pick at each other. I think there is no doubt that they're a real couple. I hope we'll get to see a real kiss or something, but even if we don't, at least it is pretty clear that they share them nonetheless. :D

I didn't care if Starbuck was in the brig while Lee partied. But I did get sick of the Lee scene. I thought it was too long. Yeah, he deserves his moment, but it took up kind of a lot of time in an episode that was already sort of slow.

Meh, I'm of two minds on the whole Lee thing.

On one hand, he has contributed a hell of a lot to the continuing survival of humanity and it was mostly because of him and his Pegasus crew that everyone didn't die on or above New Caprica. He deserves to be recognized for everything he's already done.

But on the other hand, he's abandoning his post. I really don't think he should get rewarded for that. He's supposed to be one of the best pilots in the Fleet, not to mention the CAG before Starbitch died and came back. Add that to the fact that while Major Lee Adama, former CAG and ace pilot, may deserve the reward he got, but Lee Adama the person didn't deserve anything except the backs of every hand that wasn't abandoning their post just because they wanted to try something else.

Ugh.

Is there any way you can edit that last bit out of your post?

I HATE that saying. It's basically a cute, condescending way of saying "We're seeing the same thing, but interpreting it in a different way."

I HATE IT!
