Life with children who are damaged by alcohol is never dull. It isn't always fun, but it isn't always bad either. Much like normal peers they have good days and bad days. You and your husband are saints, honestly. I am amazed on a daily basis how amazing you are, and what a gift you are to your children.

We just wanted to be parents. We didn't know we would be parents of kids with these these issues. Once you love them and they are yours you can't imagine walking away, much like you wouldn't walk away from Cole even with his club feet. They are just ours, we don't feel like we are doing anything special,just lovin our kids.

I never expected you to walk away, but 10+ children is a lot!! I barely manage with my 4, and 1 is in heaven!

lol I never said I was sane at the end of the day! Yes taking on these kids was alot. But we just couldn't know what we know and do nothing. I would be on my way to get numbers 11 and 12 if my husband would let me!
