Oh GOOOOOD, I love that story! He told it in that huge-ass book of all things Sandman, too, and now I cannot even hear the term "graphic novel" without thinking, "Oh, it's a Lady of the Evening then, is it?" He is hilarious and wonderful, oh my god.
