I know this feels like rejection to you, but I am in awe of anyone who can sign well enough to a) not be a public embarrassment when singing and b) make *onto* an alternate list.
I know that feels like small beans to you, but I am quite literally tone deaf, and although I love to sing in the car and at concerts, when I do I am always annoying *someone.* (Like, some people joke about being tone deaf. I really am. It's kind of amusing.)
Anyway, I know rejection always stings, but what you accomplished is no small feat. You definitely have skills that a lot of other people lack. Of course, we always just look at those better than us, and feel bad. It's human nature, I fear.
hey lovely, don't be too bitter. You are hella talinted, and I know how frustrating these things can be. There will be other opportunaties, maybe not shows, but different ones, and you can alwasy try for those. Cuto's for trying though! Talk soon!
