Christmas Eve

Had a very nice gathering with dad's family, where I rediscover, every year, why I'm such a strange person. But I give them credit for the good strangeness. As per usual, there was so much food, all of it delicious, and a lot of dumb hilarious jokes. That side of the family is sort of known for them. But we have a good time ( Read more... )

I know! It's one of my favorite songs. I love that song in general though...and she just makes it better.

Yay, presents!

...although maybe I should try downloading it at a time when I'm not torrenting 40 eps worth of random Chinese drama [my original downloading time was 6 hours. Now it's hovering between 1-1/2 and 2-1/2 hours to completion. As long as it keeps returning faithfully to the 1-hour end as it bounces around with my internet usage...]

Merry Christmas!

Yay for good family times! And also good strangeness; wherever would we be without our Katia's strangeness? Finally, yay for music!

And speaking of old music ("BiCO")... I was just overcome by an urge to hear "You Always Hurt the One You Love" - from Angel, when Dennis's mother was doing that spoilerific thing with the wall? And I found this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9pssZaG2oH4
The video's nothing special, but it does feature a) Micheal Buble and b) this line:
"So if I broke your heart last night,
It's because I love you most of all."
Shigure and/or Akito, y/n?

That...shivers. Up and down my spine. Feel them. Reminds me, I'm starting a new anime...Le portrait de Petit Cossette...with the tagline "does anyone love me enough that he would give his life?" So, the opposite side of the spectrum, "I'm not going to kill you for your love, but I'm going to ask you to give up yourself."
I'm going to have so much fun with this.

And thank you for the link...methinks I'm in glee now.

Ooh, you must let me know if that turns out well. It has promise. And that reminds me - I was just surfing YouTube or somewhere and happened across some anime... hold on... ah! Fantastic Children. It's about two kids who get involved with the Befort Children, a bunch of little 'uns who keep getting reincarnating, dying while children, and doing it all over again as they Quest for someone named Tina. Since groups of people getting reincarnated together really does it for me since FB and Shinju-my-love's plot bunny, it made me stop and think. If I can figure a way to see it, I'll let you know if it's worth it, shall I? And you do the same for this Cossette deal?

Oo, that sounds absolutely wonderful. Brings up creepy Dr. Who images, but that is neither here nor there in importance. But yes, please do let me know how it turns out. And when I actually finish all the work for the KL, then I'll be able to fully explore Cossette.
