Nothing like a guilt- and loss-inspired birthday party! I applaud the effort on your mother’s part. [And I owe you and Shinju-my-love both birthday presents, and Christmas presents still - I assume yours was crushed in the mail as well, but I’m… on that.]

The Bones bug is going around, huh? La. And Borders is always good. We were going to go on Sunday too, but they didn’t open until twelve, and were an hour away, and we had to get back by one for the Party. The Party, of course, made up for it.

Sushi and cake - they cure all ills. “I have found, and truly believe, that there is nothing so bad it cannot be made better with sushi and cake.” Even if you are missing chopsticks, and ooh, I can’t wait to find out what they did to you…

But I send out big hugs to everyone who made my dearest darlingest Katia happy on her almost-day! That’s how a birthday should be, indeed it is.

Yes, it did get smooshed...I felt so bad that it didn't make it through, because I know shipping and all that can be a pain. But you do know you don't have to send replacements; it was the thought and your wonderful sweetness that are quite enough.

And yes, Bones really is getting around...and there was a giftcard for Easter, so someday soon I'll be able to afford the second season.

They didn't do anything nearly as bad as I was expecting. Bridget just brought cupcakes, and gave me dishtowels...which is a joke between us that totally cracked me up. But that was about the only eventful thing that happened. It was kind of an uneventful day on the whole. Though still quite nice.

Pff. I am silly, it is established already. *twirls hair on finger*

Ooh, ooh, why dishtowels? You can't leave me hanging on that...
