Much congratulations for your brother! I'm very proud of him too, in an uninvolved way. It's good to see ambition rewarded and people getting what they want.
Plus, he deserves good things after his awesomeness in handing the Kyle incident.

Huh. My net was going funny a bit earlier too… “resetting” or some such but then I had to close the window to get it to cooperate… I dunno.

Main event, though, is fabulous! It’s always heartening to see hard work rewarded, as the world should be. “All of them - better worlds.” Operative love. Ahem. Seriously. Give your brother a round of applause from me. It is utter win that he got the college he wanted.

The kid is getting all these congrats from people he doesn't even know...I enjoy his confused "uh, tell them thanks..." too much for my own good. It's about the only amount I can torture him.

The joys of net-friends. They are many and varied, and mostly involve your family's polite-and-confuzzled, "Oh, right! Her. What's she up to these days, the sly dog?"

Yeah, hence why the family was hella confused when Shinju's Christmas card came through. I just smile, say "It's my friend from Illinois" and they give me odd looks and let me go on my way.

Though they have a disturbing habit of reading cards over my shoulder when they come from people they don't know. Irksome.
