During comments back and forth with calica, I have realized that I have a difficult time forming online friendships. I've been online since 1998 and I don't think I've had a single long term online friendship. I have met some of my RL friends online before meeting them in RL, but my online friendships never last long. I think it's because I don't know ( Read more... )

Yeah I think I would probably have a hard time meeting people from the net in RL. But I value my online friendships. I'm very patient so no worries with me if you want to chat. What do you use for IM these days? (I'm too far from you to meet anyway haha)

I use Yahoo (katia_73) or aim (katia12901) :) They are both always on, but it doesn't mean that I'm always there LOL People get offended when I don't answer, but I always forget to put up away messages, and sometimes my computer doesn't show that I'm idle.

I'll be your friend. We can talk about babies. Like we already do. And NASCAR, even though I don't get to watch the races anymore. Or whatever. I'm kinda like you. I don't have a lot of friends, but I think I do better with online ones. I'm kinda shy and I'd rather send an e-mail than talk on the phone. It's just easier for me. Maybe I'm weird like that :-)
