Auguries of Innocence by William Blake

To see a world in a grain of sand,
And a heaven in a wild flower,
Hold infinity in the palm of your hand,
And eternity in an hour.

I think these first few lines of this poem set the tone for a lovely poem and sentiments to follow. Not necessarily so... Having re-read it last night and all the way through more than once I was caused to reflect more on ( Read more... )
