As the rain pours down and the wind howls I think it’s probably fair to say that the summer is now over. Having not updated since June I’m not sure what to say about it really apart from the fact it was far too hot for me to be anything other than idle. It's very difficult when a family gathering sparks memories isn't it. I get all teary with photos as so many of my family are no longer here!

The summer was so hot, but it seems so long ago now!!

Yes, I'm really rather cold at the moment. I must download the app that allows me to control the central heating. J has it on his phone but I haven't put it on mine yet and I think I might need to as our views on when the heating should go on vary :)

I know what you mean about photos so well. I'm supposed to be sorting through my dad's slides but it is rather upsetting at times so it is a rather slow process.

It's lovely to read a post from you. The theater experience sounds fantastic. I'll have to search if there was an NT Live recording.

Thanks. The long gap was completely unintentional but the longer I leave posting the harder it seems to get.

I do hope there was an NT Live recording though I don't remember seeing anything about one. It was a terrifically exciting and popular adaptation so I'd be a bit surprised if they hadn't filmed it.

Thanks. I didn't mean to go so long without posting. It just sort of happened.

We haven't been to the theatre that much this summer but what we did see was terrific.
