I was out yesterday so the Merlin rewatch had to wait until today. I don't really have much more to say on this one as it is so obviously leading in to the next episode.

See? This is why I leave reviews to people who actually pick up on most the stuff you mentioned in the first viewing. Normally I'm like 'Ooooh look how pretty he looks today' and that's about as far as I go. Then upon viewing again, I see lots of things I should have noticed the first time. LOL!

Dude, is it cold across the pond? It's in the 60s here this week - does not feel like Christmas at all. :(

It's quite cold today but it's really more windy than anything else. This time last year we under thick snow but it's been much milder this winter so far.

You should have seen me drooling over Arthur in the white shirt with the bluish lighting in the last scene. I was nearly licking my computer screen *g*.

I loved the deer transformation and how we could see her true form in the reflection (good reuse of an idea and it made a lot of sense). I kept thinking it was very mythic. I know the Greek god Artemis transformed someone into a deer and he was eaten by his own dogs so Gwen being hunted by Arthur felt right.

I also really like Mithian. I think she would have made Arthur an excellent wife, with shared interests, goals more than Gwen does actually. She knew something about royalty but more importantly, she realized how important Merlin was to Arthur.

Yes, I thought she was extremely perceptive both about Arthur's character and his relationships. What she might not have shared, which Gwen does, is his love of Camelot, but I agree that Mithian would have made Arthur an excellent wife.

I can't believe there's only one more episode to go. This season has gone so quickly.
