Much Ado

Finally, after booking in January, it was time to go and see David Tennant and Catherine Tate in "Much Ado About Nothing". I've seen Catherine Tate on stage before twice now but not David Tennant...and he did not disappoint. "Much Ado About Nothing" is the first Shakespeare play I ever saw and I am very fond of it. I'm going on Saturday and I'm really looking forward to it. I agree with what you say about the glitch in the production as regards Hero; I've thought that since I heard about the 80s setting, but then I always find that whole sub-plot hard to swallow.

That's great! I thought it looked really stunning on her.

I do hope you enjoy it on Saturday. We both had a great time and J is nearly as enthusiastic in praise of David Tennant's performance as I am.

They do their best with the Hero subplot but really it's an inusperable problem for any production.

We definitely did! Catherine Tate and David Tennant have such excellent chemistry that I was pretty sure we were going to, but it was even better than I was anticipating.
