We've been up to London two evenings running this week so I have a play review and a pic spam! We went to see "Cause Celebre" at the Old Vic yesterday and had a completely absorbing evening.
Lovely pics! I love the one with St Paul's at the centre. And the beach huts. :)
I grinned at the sloping horizon - I always do that, too. I have a pic from Greece where a very beautiful ship looks like it's going to slide down the sea and nosedive into the village.
LOL! Yes, I've done that with boats too. My excuse with this one was that I was carrying a handbag, a coat and another bag which probably contributed to the tilt a bit *g*.
The beach huts are great fun. They've got things in them, but I was so gobsmacked by the fact there was a beach there at all that I didn't investigate further!
Thank you for sharing. I always enjoy your London pictures so much ! These are very lovely , my favourite is maybe the one with St Paul in the background.
That's my favourite too :) It was such a gorgeous evening on Monday and the light was so bright that you could see the cross on the dome of St Paul's shining even at nearly 8 o'clock in the evening.
I think one of the most frustrating thing about having items like the paper plane sculpture is that there usually is absolutely no explanation about what it's all about....
Yes, my reaction was basically "huh" and so was J's when he joined me. I think it's all in aid of the 60th anniversary of the Festival of Britain, but quite what the beach really had to do with that I'm not sure.
I wish there had been some kind of explanation for the paper planes. I think it's something to do with the anniversary of the Festival of Britain, but I'm not sure!

I looked for an explanation and couldn't find one, but I think it may be something to do with the 60th Anniversary of the Festival of Britain!
