Mix that oil with a little alcohol (vodka works well) before putting it in the water. otherwise the oil will just stick to the sides of the bottle and not mix with the water.

I was going to say, I have a whole book full of prosperity spells and charms and rits... and most of them use cinnamon. :)

Well, I haven't successfully tested any of them like I did the Big Fat Check ritual. The book was Silver's Spells for Prosperity by Silver Raven Wolf, it's about $10 (but look for a used one). One thing that annoys me on alot of those spell and ritual books is trying to find things like holly twigs, cinquefoil (?), juniper berries. I mean jeez. :o)
