I need to just go away and write, but I saw this & it was so good... so I'm posting again :-)

I love Carolyn McCulley's writing. I have been so encouraged by her blog. In this post, she quoted something I read in a book by Douglas Wilson last week. So... I'm posting the link: Waiting to Be InterruptedThis is right on. The idea of relationships is ( Read more... )

Thank you for sharing! That's definitely something we need to remember, to go on following the Lord wherever He leads instead of always wanting to know the future... Yup, that's a struggle I've been dealing with, so I needed that!

Most welcome! I needed the reminder, and am happy to be able to share it with others :-) So much comes back to truly trusting God, and not thinking we need to know everything!

Yes, the very same! I'd not read it before, didn't know what the storyline was, but my mom started listening to it, and I got hooked ;-)
So good-> made me cry so much at the end. I was so not expecting that sort of twist in the plot!

What kind of blog does she have? Did you already list the link for that.

Her blog is at solofemininity.blogs.com
If you go to the link in my post, that takes you to that particular blog entry, and then you can click on the title at the top of her blog, and it will take you to the main page will all of her most recent entries.

Carolyn McCulley wrote, "Did I Kiss Marriage Goodbye?" which is a wonderful book (if you've not read it, it's worth at least perusing it online :-) (You can browse the entire book online here) She's a single woman, in her 30s, and consistently writes God-exalting posts on a variety of subjects. Often relating to singles, as that was her intent in having the blog, but much of it applicable to any Believer :-)
Here's the link to her blog: Solo Femininity.

And... that was the long answer :-)

You're welcome :-) Spend any time around my LJ, and you'll learn I don't do "short" or "succinct" very well!
