School started Monday. It's different from SFSU, but not so much. My Japanese class is challenging and for some reason the teacher likes to pick on me. The first day of class, she asked me if I understood anything, if I was okay. I told her I can understand most of her Japanese, but can't speak it. Today, when it was my turn to answer a question,

japanese education and teaching is so much different (better, i think) than united states style. they don't tell kids right away when they have the right answer, and they try to get kids to work with each other and try to find the right answers using as muhc of their owns brains as possible. it's cool.
