it's an intense sport. you work yourself until you think you're gonna die. but you don't die. when your conditioning or rowing is over, you just collapse, or puke, or whatever... and you keep going.

but that's what it's all about.

hey you! i'm doing pretty well. school/college stuff is pretty crazy, but i'm holding up okay. full weeks and full weekends, but not bad at all. i miss camp like crazy, and i miss all of you. do keep in touch and keep me updated! how are you?

Wow, Tara, hi right back to you! I'm glad the letter got to you; I've been thinking about you a lot lately. Everything is going well, as a matter of fact, but sort of drifting in terms of direction. Which is okay for now, I think. I miss you like crazy and I love you and it's so good to hear from you. I hope you're well, too.
