Dear magicofisis,
I was thinking about what to do for this months post so I checked your interests again and I must say I squeed when I noticed Green Day listed.
Even when I'm feeling at my worst physically or emotionally good music never fails to make me feel a bit better.
I've been a Green Day fan for quite a long time. So I decided to draw you a picture of the Green Day boys. This took a couple of days but I can't say it's exactly a hardship to sit and stare at Billy Joe for a couple of days *g*
Cut for size, drawing is G rated.
I really couldn't narrow down this list to just my favourites, I just couldn't choose so here's some links to Green Day songs in the order I found them *g*

We have an Australian band called The Living End who I'm insanely fond of. They're sort of a cross between rock, punk and rockabilly. The things Scott Owen can do with a Double Bass should be illegal. I've been to their concerts a few times and they are some of the best I've ever been too. An amazing live band but they also do cool film clips.
The Living End got their first big break in 1995 when, after sending a t-shirt and a demo tape to Billie Joe Armstrong, they landed a support slot in Green Day's upcoming Australian tour.
So I thought I'd link to a few of these too (once again had so much trouble choosing). I'm not sure how well known they are overseas.

Anyway, I wanted to link people to Running for a Cure
1 solo female runner, 20,000 kilometres, 25 million steps, 55 kms a day, every day, A Pink Caravan Convoy, 3 world records, a 1 lap around Australia, all for breast cancer research & support.
Ultra marathon World and Australian record holder Deborah De Williams is at it again! This time Deborah, along with her constant companion her Border Collie, Maggie, aims to become the 1st female (& the 1st dog) to run around Australia! Deborah is using her feet again to support charity and Running Pink is proud to be supporting the National Breast Cancer Foundation. To make a donation visit our donation page.
