I've been doing some quick drawings to try out some different brushes and techniques.

I'm trying to practice drawing without references. No idea why this is so dark though. I was playing around making my own textures and ended up drawing over it. My mind confuses me sometimes.
EDIT: A brighter version
I was reading a digital watercolour tutorial and wanted to try out the effect. I used a 2D pencil brush to draw the line art. It's cool because when I use it I draw more like I do with a pencil. No idea why there's a tub of water and a river that stops in a straight line *lol*
Oh this was fun. I painted the background black and then used transparent brushes to draw the wings and figure and then put a rainbow gradient (on overlay) over the wings. I like the spiral thing. This is a goddess painting. I do them from time to time.
This was to see what the pic looked like in black and white, then I put it on a white background and made the wings look tattered and then played with tribal type designs. After that I put a blue photo filter over everything.
More practice at faces. I like this one. It's cute but you've no idea how many dud ones I drew first *g* Getting there though.
