When I read those last lines, my heart just did a little flip. Your writing is gorgeous. I haven't read all your stuff yet, but out of the ones I've read so far, this one and "Reading Remus" are definitely going into my personal file of puppy love favourites. I hope you write many more R/S, Hogwarts days, get-together fics!

I read MidnightMarauder's remix of this first, and I'm happy to say that I'm just as pleased by your original. I love the way Remus (at first) didn't recognize "the look" on Sirius's face in the photo but was affected by it all the same. It seems so character appropriate that Remus dealt with his confusion by putting the photo away. Silly boy.

And when he does recognize the look, he's suddenly uncertain that he took the photo? Our insecure Remus. But I love that once he asks Sirius about it, Remus is willing to take a chance and make the first move. Yes!
