This was cool. I know next to nothing about batman-verse but I could still follow it pretty well, which is a good thing. I loved the scene where Steph is urging Tim to go kiss Nightwing and he ends up tricking her into saying she likes Jason :)
Aw, I just love the image of the two of them sitting on their cases, watching, watching.
The family themes were so sweet and touching:
“Yes,” she states immediately, because he is a Robin and therefore family, and safe. Real family, not biological. Oh, the Batfolks in a nutshell. Perfect.
She’ll always remember this moment, even if no one else does.
It is the moment she knows her child is going to be fine.
Lovely. We don't see her child mentioned often and you work it in so well.
I have a real fondness for Stephanie and Jason stories and yours is a good read, and very touching.
