I wish I knew why I feel so much better today than I did 2 weeks ago: is it crossing into the third trimester, less yoga, the PT exercises, or something else? Obviously, it would be quite helpful to know if anything I did made it better (or worse). *sighs ( Read more... )

Just make sure you're only eating really GOOD ice cream.

Lots of people say that the beginning of the third trimester is easier than the second. (By the end you might be feeling done, tho...)

Sorry, that last bit managed to *not* be supportive, which wasn't really what I was going for. It's that OH JUST YOU WAIT approach to telling people about parenting which is so bloody annoying. Apologies.

I've been mostly eating Ben & Jerry's, bc I haven't been at the grocery store when we run out of ice cream :(

Good to know about this stage versus the last one.

And as for OH JUST YOU WAIT... I realized this week that the uncertainty is driving me nuts: people (including my co-parent) keep telling me everything will change and I won't know anything until it happens, which is vexing if you're an inveterate planner. ugh. On the other hand, you gave me a data point, which is better than most people's remarks since I've gotten pregnant :)

Relatedly, mostly on your suggestion, I have 2 Ina May Gaskin books on the coffee table as we speak.
