I have emails from the MIT Enterprise Forum about 3 different events in the next two weeks, about making NYC a tech mecca, biz plan presentations, and hearing from the current director of the Media Lab, but I can't get excited about any of them. is that like commitment? like not like combining-books commitment, but still.

Actually, my project next time I'm over at his place is to go through his pile of books to be discarded, claim a few, get rid of the rest, and figure out which books on the shelf I have too. You make a good point: getting rid of books is a HUGE commitment.

we combined books several months after we got married. that's real commitment.

But when you missed 3 of 4 events, it sounded like it was due more to conflicting engagements than because you weren't interested in the events.
