Just got back from Asia yesterday. It says something about the evolution of social media that I was addicted to WiFi so I could update Twitter, Fitocracy, and Facebook (ok, mostly Fitocracy), but I couldn't come up with sufficiently coherent observations for LJ while I was gone ( Read more... )

I've been wondering when you'd get back. I knew it should be "any day now."

Glad to hear that you had an incredible trip! I really really look forward to hearing more about it. :)

yay!

*glares*

I don't think the Elberus trip will happen: the guys on the trip don't consider it big/challenging enough and it becomes a very different trip if it's just me and the Norwegians and their boyfriends. Which could be interesting in other ways ;-)

I can't wait to see you!!!

Rafting is not my favorite, but some raft trips will let you accompany them in a kayak, or do the two together. I'm pretty easy to persuade into that. Also, I'm developing a hell of a Northwest hit list (Crater Lake, Lake Crescent, the trail near Forks that I didn't do, some of the Rainier trails...) and I'm easy to persuade to Rocky Mountain National Park. [grin] We shall discuss!
