Then I wrangled with both my old and new computers trying to download the audiobook of Michael Palin's Himalaya to no avail. Btw, skiing in NH was pretty awesome this weekend. They got about 6-8" of powder between Friday and Saturday, so the ice was at a minimum. If you have the time, I highly recommend going up early this week as I believe it's supposed to get warmer (again) suddenly. Waterville Valley has pretty good lift ticket deals mid week. :)

I'm glad somebody got some skiing this season! Not being a driver, last minute ski trips by myself are hard :(

Oh, I totally understand not being a driver. That sucks. If I had time off, I would totally contribute to your ski-well-being and offer to pick you up at the train station in Hartford and take you there myself. I feel like everyone should get as much skiing in as possible while the snow is nice!

I love those conversations. I used to go to Notting Hill Carnival every year, and my favorite bit was old Rastafarians leaning against railings and chatting to each other and saying things like "De beats, Clarence, de beats."
