a) congratulations! when do you find out how you did?
b) i'm always disappointed when they muck around with foie. what a waste. at least greens and strawberries and balsalmic are relatively innocuous. give me one whole pan-fried foie with toast and i am a happy man.

b) I actually like a little something sweet with it, for those times when Chateau d'Yquem is not available and it's not done quite right. However, in this case I'd agree with you - I'd never liked it before I had it the first time at the Four Seasons.
