More Flamingos!

Kate did this beautiful watercolor for me as a Christmas gift over a year ago. I finally decided to learn how to mat and this is my second attempt - the first was another painting that needed an additional mat to cover up most of the original one, the color of which was rather overpowering by itself. I actually seem to have gotten it more or less

somehow, "flock" doesn't begin to describe all the beautiful birds in the "lounge". perhaps a "richness" of flamingos? or a "brightness" ? maybe just a "pinkness" of them. looks like a job well done!
