Homemade Watercolor Box

One thing I've noticed is that as small as my watercolor field kit is, it's still so big that it's seldom with me. So I've been thinking about a kit that will fit into a jacket pocket: a small bijou box, one small water brush, a pen and a notebook. Hello - I have been a fan of Kate's for years - met her on the EDM list and bought a few of her books a year or so ago. Also a fan of yours now as I love your journal.

This is a lovely palette box. Been thinking of making one myself but then I saw the pocket painters palette at:

I should receive it today, in fact. I may still make one of these little boxes, though - so handy for different color palettes and so portable!
