I picked Frick up and of course, he had fleas. I couldn't find any on Frack, but if Frick has them, I'm sure he does too. The label on the Advantage box says not to give it to cats under nine weeks old or under two pounds. I know they're at least ten weeks old, probably twelve. Since Frack is the smaller of the two and he weighs two pounds, ( Read more... )

They're adorable (well, they are kittens)! And they look like a couple of interesting personalities are lurking inside.

Something happened to Marmalade's kittens (Ms. M is a feral orange tabby kitten that showed up at our barn a few months ago, and finally allowed me to make contact about 6 weeks ago, just before she had 2 kittens herself), but I'm still able to touch and pet her if I can take time to center and align myself with her, so that's one more former feral cat coming over to the dark side. We'll get her spayed shortly.

Neutering is next, but that won't be for a few months yet.

And don't you mean "from" the Dark Side? After all, the Dark Side may have cookies, but we have kittens! :)

and if they are "frick and frack", you'll have to be getting them figure skates for this winter, so they can emulate their namesakes, eh? i can see them, now, trying to teach the other kitties how to do a figure eight on the kitchen floor.

Well, I have learned that while it may not seem quite the right time to add to the family for us humans, it is always the right time for the kitties. :)

My best to you and Kate and all the furry ones.

They ARE really cute, and so is J. when he goes looking for them. *G* Love that little purr-machine! Frack's more reserved (read "grumpy"!)
