Yay! Correct 1) was the Bangles version (go eighties bands!)
and i know what you mean about Puttin' On the Ritz, I have five different versions! This one was Stray Cats

I used to hear it on the radio all the time when I was a kid, but as I was listening to a big band station at the time, I was hearing all kinds of versions. I don't know that I *ever* knew who did the latest cover. I do know I was kinda depressed to hear it on Muzak at Kroger a couple of months ago. :-)
