Miss Kate, how lovely to see one of your nature pages, freshly minted. You have inspired me to make time to mark the onset of spring, too, in word and images. Thanks for being a great catalyst and model for good behavior ;D.

Hi sweet thing! You are making me laugh, but one reason I started the Facebook group and the Flickr group for nature artists was to prod MYSELF to do it more often. I really enjoy it...

I think you have captured so well the stark conditions in which the crocus manage to push themselves from the ground. I went out to check on my crocus and they seem to be more or less at the same stage as yours; perhaps just a little slower. We have had an unusually cold winter, and more snow expected today. Cold night too, although I guess that is relative and -4 will not seem cold to some! The crocus remind me that spring will come soon.
