We will! I love them too. At the moment, I'm just considering a blog site that would allow us to link to cookbooks, diet books and such on Amazon, as well as javascripts. I don't think LJ does that, at least they didn't used to. I'd like to make it as useful as possible...
fast, easy, fairly cheap, and if one uses low fat meat, healthy: from the "emergency food department" i present
Glop!
1 pound of burger-- turkey, hamburger, ground round, etc. 1 can of baked beans--your choice 1 can of corn, drained (or leftover frozen, etc.] approx 1/4 to 1/2 cup catsup or barbecue sauce
brown meat in frying pan, using seasonings you like, onion, too, a bit of garlic. dump in that can of beans after you drain any grease from the meat, and add the corn. heat gently through, and add catsup or sauce as desired. simmer, and serve up with salad, a bit of cornbread, and beverage of choice.
this was the fastest supper in the retinue of the "desperate full time working mom" file. we still serve it up when we are camping.
now i'm among the first to contribute, even if it is a bit suspect....

Hi Kate, I loved reading your entire blog and really liked reading about the Fried Green Tomatoes--always remembered them from Fanny Flagg's great book and the movie (both are favorites)...Also, I am so negligent in thanking you for the two wonderful CD's that I ordered...I haven't had much time to work with them, but will and they look super! Thank you for all that you do for the edm group! Good luck on your new endeavors! Susan
