As for a journal... Well, do you have a different persona in mind? Or maybe just go by real name or a nickname?
I'd aim for employability, I figure there's no point in paying a university to get a Master's in English when you can study the classics directly any time you want. You're paying for a certificate that you are edjumacated, essentially, so you can increase your employability.

I do have a different persona in mind for the new journal (it would actually just be a renaming of this one, is all) - well, persona isn't really the right word. Just a different nom de plume. Something more easily associated with 'me'. Not my real name, but a nick name that I go by elsewhere on these interwebs.
As for further education, it's something that I have a love hate relationship with. I like the idea of going learning and getting multiple perspectives on a given topic, but so much of the added baggage that comes along with academic work - most the posing and the BSing - drives me up a wall. So, we'll see what happens. I might give it a miss and become a baker, or something useful. I don't know.

So you're going to be a wuf? Nom de (bird's) plume!
I'll argue that night classes and learning just for the sake of learning may be what you want to do.
