I get furious with fangirls who think mental illness and self-harm are a joke, or immature attention-seeking silliness, or a lazy excuse not to get a job. Having glanced at that meme I got the impression that many involved were being offensive simply for the sake of being offensive. Straightforward good old fashioned trolling in fact. Sticking your oar in, in that situation, is merely feeding the trolls. I don't know if you did react there I didn't have the patience to look at much of it, but I can't see any benefit in doing so, the thing merely exists to make you (and many others) react to it.

...although I did contemplate going through it and friending anyone mentioned by name on the grounds they were probably someone who had interesting things to say, stood up for themselves and had principles they were passionate about. But to be honest I decided I had better things to do with my life than read through the drivel looking for the names.
