1. Malawi lies east of Zambia, north of Mozambique, and south of Tanzania, in the southeast of Africa. It became an independent Commonwealth country in 1964.

How did Malawi come up?

(quick disclaimer - I work in an institute that does a lot of HIV/Hep stuff. Hence, Malawi comes up quite a bit, you'd be surprised.)
